Katherine Evans

Katherine N. Evans,  77, of Alden, passed away on October 20, 2021 at Medilodge of Grand Traverse County.

She was born on September 11, 1944, in Detroit, the daughter of Hollis and Ethel (Oxendine) Fancher.

Katherine enjoyed bowling, flower gardening, and animals, especially her dogs.

On July 15, 1963, in Livonia, she married Kenneth E. Evans, who survives.   Also surviving are a daughter Melinda “Mindy” (Keith) Robbins of Mancelona, 2 grandchildren, Ashley (Nick) Ayoub, Chelsey (David) McManman both of Mancelona, 3 great-grandchildren, Tahlia, Haiden, and Lexi and a sister Wanda (Dennis) Bangert of Denver, CO.

She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Jonce and Randall Fancher, a sister Delorse Bangert as well as her parents.

At her request, there will be no services.
