Julaine Vanderheide

Julaine Kay Vanderheide, 74 of Charlevoix, died Saturday, December 7th, 2019.  She was born March 2, 1945 the daughter of Albert and Donna Mansen.

Julaine was an active member the Community Reformed Church in Charlevoix for many years.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching TV.  She also enjoyed bowling in her younger years and eating good food.  Julaine and her husband Samuel enjoyed camping and traveled together to almost every state.

Surviving Julaine is her husband of 50 years, Sam.  Also surviving are her children Brett (Emily) Vanderheide of Central Lake and Heidi Wilkinson of Florida, grandson Owen Wilkinson of Central Lake, brothers Tom (Cheryl) Mansen and Jim (Cindy) Mansen, brother in laws Dave (Sue) Vanderheide and Ken (Barb) Vanderheide and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her niece Caili Mueller.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 18th at 11 a.m. at Community Reformed Church in Charlevoix with Pastor Chip Sauer officiating.  The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 17th from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Charlevoix Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.  Memorial donations can be given to the National MS Society, P.O.
