Judith "Judy" Plunkett

Judith Ann Plunkett, 74 of Mancelona passed away peacefully at home on, Monday, August 17, 2026. She was born on November 21st, 1951, in Detroit, the daughter of Earl and Jeanne Jeska.

Judy was a strong bible reading Christian who enjoyed reading and watching her favorite preachers. But also, loved spending time with her family and kitties. 

Surviving is her husband of 49 years, William "Bill" Plunkett of Mancelona; her only daughter, Jennifer Anderson of Mancelona; her grandchildren, Matthew Everett (Sarah Elkins), Amanda Everett, Daniel Everett all of Mancelona, Alicia Stewart (Dustin Stewart) of Traverse City; several great-grandchildren Derek Morse of Mancelona, Skyler Everett of Mancelona, Myles Everett of Benzie, Patrick Rice-Everett of Mancelona, Evelyn Everett of Mancelona, Adriana Everett of Holland, William Stewart of Traverse City, Aubree Emery of Mancelona, Trenton Stewart of Traverse City, Jazlynn Stewart of Traverse City, Legend Fredenburg of Mancelona, Madalynn Stewart of Traverse City, and Malcolm Stewart of Traverse City.

Judy was preceded in death by both of her parents; her grandson, Michael Everett of Benzie; both of her grandparents, Clyde and Etta (Wright) Robillard, and her only aunt, Charlotte Nicolai.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 28, at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
