Joseph David Cosner, age 55, passed away unexpectedly April 30, 2024. Born in Doylestown, Pennsylvania on December 28, 1968, to James Morris Cosner Sr. and Laura Elizabeth White- Cosner . Joe was the younger bother to James Morris Cosner Jr. and older brother to Jay Brian Cosner He is preceded in death by his father Jim and brother Jay. Survived by his biological daughter Ellah Cosner, step daughter Madison Morgan, mother Laura Cosner, brother James Cosner and numerous nieces and nephews.
Growing up in Pennsylvania (Bucks County) Joe enjoyed boating in the Delaware River, strolling the boardwalks of the Jersey Shore, swimming in the Atlantic Ocean and “off-roading” with his brothers at Pine Barron Sand Dunes were some of his favorite interests. At a young age Joe worked on the Cosner family race car with his father where he discovered a passion for cars.
Joe attended Central Bucks East High School followed by Technical Schools, focusing on computer technology as well as computer programming specific to the automotive industry. He possessed an innate talent for deconstructing and reconstructing any object that crossed his path. Build a computer from scratch, check! Tear down a high end car, rebuild it, enhance it, put it back together, better than it originally was, check! Fix the electrical in your house, check! Build a deck, check. Joe was truly a jack of all trades. Diagnosing complex technical issues and fixing them came effortlessly to Joe. These skills along with his passion for cars led him to a successful career in the automotive industry where he traveled the county working with prestigious car companies such as Porsche, Mercedes-Benzes, Jaguar, and Land Rover. His expertise made him a highly respected figure in the field.
Joe was a devoted Father and husband, A Step-father, Son, Brother-in law, Son-in-law, Uncle, Friend, Cousin and more, filling these roles with love, humor, dedication, kindness and unwavering support. A family man you could count on to be there, day or night.
In his early thirties Joe moved to Michigan where he met the love of his life, Deborah . They married and spent almost 20 wonderful years together, raising Madison and Ellah. There was never a dull moment with Joe around; every day was a new adventure. Joe treasured his family and brought such joy to their lives. Although Joe and Deb parted ways, they remained close friends.
Joes final residence was in Mancelona MI - Lakes of the North. He loved the community vibe where snowmobiling was top on the fun list. Joe enjoyed riding the trails on his side x side, starry nights, bonfires and beautiful beaches.
He will be forever in our hearts, forever loved.
