John Tobiczyk

John Leo Tobiczyk Sr. of Ft. Myers, Florida and Central Lake, MI, a beloved husband, son, brother, father and grandfather passed away peacefully surrounded by family.  John passed at the age of 79 after a short but brave fight with cancer only very recently diagnosed.  The son of the late Leo James Tobiczyk and late mother Barbara Elizabeth Tobiczyk was born in Detroit, MI.  John married Anna Victoria Tobiczyk, his loving wife of 57 years, on May 18th, 1963.

John attended GMI graduating in 1963, and furthered his education at MSU in 1970 with an MBA.  He retired in 2013 after working at many companies: General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Regal Plastics, GenCorp, Molmec, Conix, and Federal-Mogul to name a few.

John lived the dream and enjoyed 47 summers on beautiful Torch Lake, Michigan with family and friends and warm winters in Ft. Myers, FL.  John was a friend, father, grandfather, mentor to so many.  John was always willing to offer a helping hand and will be sorely missed.

Surviving family: Wife Anna Tobiczyk, 3 sons, John, Chuck and Steve (Iveta) Tobiczyk, grandchildren Hannah, Jacob, Charlie, Finn and Stella, sister Evelyn Hardecki and brother Leo Tobiczyk.
