John O'Neill

John Michael (Mike) O'Neill, 71 of Ellsworth died June 8, 2016 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.

He was born February 4, 1945 in Springfield, Ohio to John and Davidine (Berthuame) O'Neill.

Mike was employed by Dow Chemical Co. as a fracker in the oil production division.

He married Wilma Jean 'Susie' Dennis on March 17, 1997 in Singer Island, Florida. They lived in Traverse City before moving to Ellsworth in 2003.

Mike enjoyed golfing, loved kids and sports and was the Ellsworth Lancers' #1 fan.

Surviving are his wife Susie; son Sean O'Neill of Spring Lake and daughter Erin O'Neill of Traverse City; grandchildren Brady Rossi, Colin O'Neill and Kathleen O'Neill; and sister Peggy Evans of Newark, Ohio. He was preceded in death by sisters Sally Wales and Susie Lewis.
