Jessica Marie Emery

Jessica M. Emery,  40, of Traverse City, passed away on September 25, 2025.

   She was born on February 8, 1985, in Fort Ord, California, the daughter of Corvin and Marcia (McCann) Emery.

   Jessica loved her family and spending time with them, especially her nieces and nephews.   She loved cooking, music, and her pets.

   Surviving are her father Corvin Emery, 4 siblings, Anthony Emery, Nicolette (Shocko) Emery, Michael Emery, Robert (Alicia Shananaquet) Emery, 11 nieces and nephews, Isabell Witteveen, Jason Witteveeen Jr., Andrew Witteveen, Landen Emery, Gabriel Shananaquet, Payton Emery, Andrea Emery, Ryan Ciolk, Sunrise Emery, Cassandra Emery, Derron Emery as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

   Preceding her in death were her mother Marcia Emery, Brother Corvin Emery Jr., and cousin Issac McCann.

   Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the John Hall, 7248 Cairn Highway, Kewadin.   Pastor Delfred WhiteCrow will officiate.

   Visitation will take place on Thursday from 12 noon until the beginning of services.

   Burial will take place in Greensky Cemetery, Charlevoix.

     Arrangements are in the care of the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
