Jennifer Anne Stone

Jennifer Anne Stone, 63, of The Woodlands, Texas, passed away on August 12, 2026.She was born on December 24, 1962, in Detroit, Michigan, to David and Carolyn (Shaw) Waschull.

Jennifer was a talented and creative woman who had a gift for making things beautiful and making people feel cared for. She was an exceptional cook, and some of her happiest moments were spent in the kitchen preparing meals for the people she loved. Whether she was planning a celebration in The Woodlands, hosting family and friends on the lake in Michigan, or bringing her signature five-star touch to an ordinary gathering, she knew how to make any occasion feel special. She had a true knack for noticing every detail and took genuine joy in creating moments that brought people together.

Her creativity showed up in everything she touched. She loved to write and sew and could spend hours bringing an idea to life. The dollhouse she created for her granddaughters was a perfect example, with each tiny room filled with details she lovingly made by hand. She had a way of taking something simple and making it extraordinary, not for recognition but because that was how she did things.Above all, Jennifer cherished the people in her life. She was generous with her time and talents and found joy in making others feel welcome, celebrated, and loved.

Jennifer is survived by her husband, Robert Bagnall; her mother, Carolyn Waschull; her children, Emily (Paul) Perry of The Woodlands, Texas, and Sam Stone of Austin, Texas; her stepchildren, Jamie Campbell, Brett Noades, Lee Bagnall, Chelsea Bagnall, and Elisha Bagnall; her sister, Amy Tolleson of Carpentersville, Illinois; and her beloved grandchildren, Elyse, Quinn, and Jack Perry; Maya, Artie, and Ralf Bagnall; Jesse, Isla, Milo, Rhylee, Rueben, Bertie, and Ray Noades; and Isabella and Charlotte Campbell.

She was preceded in death by her father, David Waschull. 

Jennifer leaves behind a legacy of creativity, kindness, love, and cherished memories. Her generous spirit, thoughtful nature, and the beauty she brought into the lives of those around her will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and friends. 

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, September 1, at 11:30 a.m. at 385 NE Torch Lake Dr., Central Lake, MI 49622.  The family also plans to celebrate her life in The Woodlands, TX at a future date.
