Jennet Sitzema

Jennet Sitzema, 74 of Ellsworth died Wednesday, Octorber 23, 2013 at McLaren Northern Michigan in Petoskey.
She was born July 30, 1939 in Banks Township the daughter of William and Maggie (VanderHeide) Reamsma.
On January 4, 1989 she married Herman Sitzema in Clearwater, FL and they made their home in Ellsworth. Herman died in 1992.
Jennet was employed at Keeler Brass in Grand Rapids for over ten years and later at Texas Instruments in Central Lake.
She enjoyed quilting, canning and volunteered two days a week at Good Samaritan Family Services in Ellsworth.
Surviving are her sister Cornelia (Donald) Battjes of Grandville, 5 nieces and one nephew, brother-in-law Ralph "Bud" (Laurel) Sitzema of Garden City, MI and sister-in-law Katherine Klooster of Central Lake.
She was preceded by a brother Benny Reamsma in 1988.
At her request, no funeral service will be held. There will be an informal visitation at the Hastings Funeral Home beginning at 4:00 PM Thursday.
Burial will be in Atwood Cemetery, Banks Township, MI.
