Jeanne Carol Dubey

Jeanne C. Dubey,  88, of Charlevoix, passed away on April 10, 2026.

   She was born on July 28, 1937 in DeKalb, IL, the daughter of Wallace and Catherine (Randolph) Drury.

   Jeanne came to Charlevoix at age 17, eventually met her husband Leonard then never left.   She was an elementary schoolteacher at St. Mary Catholic School for 17 years and was a member of the Whirlways group out of Petoskey which was a traveling Square Dance Club.

   She enjoyed playing cards, reading, art work and camping.

   Surviving are 2 daughters, Cathy (Gene) Liotta of Freeland, MI, Cristol (Tom) Black of Leesburg, FL, 2 grandchildren, Bryan (Jenny Marie) Liotta of Hemlock, MI, Jenni Rose (Patrick) Corbett of Grosse Ile, MI, and 3 great-grandsons, Trekstyn and Maveryx Liotta and Samuel Corbett of Grose Ile, MI.

   Preceding her in death we’re her husband Leonard Dubey, brother Condit Drury, sister Donna Drury as well as her parents.

   Funeral services will take place on Friday, May 15, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Charlevoix with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.

   Pastor Dave Anderson will officiate.

   Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Charlevoix.
