James Fisher

JAMES E. FISHER 74, of Bellaire, died Monday, December 17, 2006 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. Jim was born June 28, 1932 in Detroit, the son of Albert and Willamina (Lakemond) Fisher. He served in the U.S. Army, graduated from the University of Miami, Florida and was the Vice President of Star Advertising of Detroit for many years. Jim moved to Bellaire in 1995 from Grosse Pointe and enjoyed boating, golfing, fishing and hunting. On April 1, 1955 in Detroit he married Joann R. Pinger, who survives. Also surviving is a son James E. Jr. of Clinton Twp. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 22, 2006 at the Church in the Hills, Bellaire at Eleven a.m. with Rev. Duane Ferris officiating. Visitation will take place Thursday, from 3 until 7 p.m. at the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Memorial contributions may be made to the Antrim County Animal Control.
