Helen L. Hudson

Helen L. Hudson,  96, of Bellaire, passed away on September 12, 2026.

   She was born on February 10, 1930, in Muskegon, MI, the daughter of Jack and Matilda (Ludwig) Gilmore.

   Helen was employed by Dura for many years and was a member of the Tip Top Club.   She enjoyed card games, especially euchre, puzzles, sewing, canning, crafting but her greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

   Surviving are 4 children, Ron (Kim) Hudson of Mancelona, Jimmy Hudson of Bellaire, Tommy (Donna) Hudson of Mancelona, and Tammy Molski of Central Lake.

   Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, Rocky (Jenny) Hudson, Krista Hudson (Scott Keegan), Melanie (Chris) Griffore, Ryan (Megan) Hudson, Jessica (Tim) VanDusen, Dillon (Haley) Hudson, Trevor Hudson, Brad Molski, Matthew (Amanda) Molski, Tasha (Chris) Latta, 17 great-grandchildren,  Tucker Molski, Tatum Molski, Tripp Molski, Cale Hudson, Beckett Hudson, Brandel Molski, Remi Molski, Decker Hudson, Stella Hudson, Hudson Latta, Theo Latta, Brett (Ione) Hudson, Ella (Chad) Hudson, Lucy Griffore, Kendall Griffore, Liv VanDusen, Maverick VanDusen, and a sister Marion White.

   Preceding her in death were her husband James Hudson, 2 sisters, Dorothy Plunkett, Maxine Moore, a daugher-in-law Stephanie Hudson and her parents.

   A Celebration of her Life will take place on Sunday, November 1, 2026 from 2-5 p.m. at the Central Lake Amvets.

   Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Northwest Michigan, 921 W. 11th St. Suite 1W, Traverse City, MI,  49684.
