Hazel Marie Moon

Hazel M. Moon,  75, of Bellaire, passed away on February 19, 2024 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility.

   She was born on November 28, 1948, in Clayton, MI, the daughter of Robert and Florence (Cheney) Skaggs.

   She enjoyed going on long walks and spending time with her beloved dog "Windy".

   Surviving are 2 sisters, Lila Mott of Mancelona, Sally Ann Moore of East Jordan, a brother Rickie Skaggs of Alden, and a step-brother Eldon Skaggs of Burton, MI.

    Preceding her in death were her husband Danny Moon, 2 sisters, Coral Frisbee, Andra Harcourt, 3 brothers, Elmer Skaggs, Robert Skaggs Jr., Dickie Skaggs, 2 half-brothers, Chester Skaggs, Earl "Junior" Skaggs, her grandpa Elmer Cheney, her parents, and her beloved dog "Windy".

   No services are planned at this time.

   Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

   Arrangements are in the care of the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
