Harold Norman Musall Jr.

Harold Norman Musall Jr., 82, of Alden, MI, passed away at Munson Medical Center on October 24th, 2026. Harold was born on April 4th, 1944, to Harold Sr. and Marcella Besser.

Harold married his loving wife of 58 years, Bonnie, on December 2nd, 1967, at the Methodist Church in Mancelona, MI. Together, they raised two children, Norm Musall of Lakes of the North and Salina Musall of Alden, MI. Harold enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whether that be on camping trips, vacations, or at amusement parks.

Known by his family for having a deep love for the outdoors, Harold could regularly be found hunting, fishing, or camping. A few highlights to his outdoor adventures included a halibut fishing trip to Alaska with his son Norm and a couple friends, and several fishing trips to Canada. The Alaskan fishing trip came just five years after he and Bonnie made the long drive there for a vacation.

You simply cannot overlook his love for golfing and bowling, either. He enjoyed the friendly competition and spending time with his friends.

Harold belonged to both the Mancelona American Legion and Moose Lodge after his service in the United States Military. Serving 18 months in Vietnam alongside other brave soldiers, Harold was proud to have served his country. Upon returning home, Harold worked his way up to a supervising position in the oilfields of Kalkaska, where he worked hard to ensure his family was taken care of.

Surviving Harold are two brothers, Raymond (Tara) Musall of Vanderbilt, MI and Richard (Sharon) Musall of Mancelona, MI; three sisters, Carol Robinson of Gaylord, MI, Norma Gould of Lakeland, FL, and Darlene (Ted) Bouchard; two grandchildren, Nicole Musall and Meagan (Austin) Alexander; four great-grandchildren, Rylie Burroughs, Callie Musall-Oyer, Weston Alexander and Madelynn Alexander; and brother in law Mick Case.
