Gwendolyn M. St. Cyr,  92, of Bellaire, passed away on July 22, 2021 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility.

Gwen was born on May 9, 1929 in Bellaire, the daughter of Floyd and Lucile (Olds) Gregory.

She was born and raised on the farm north of Bellaire and graduated from Bellaire High School in 1947.  Following graduation she was married to J. Claude St. Cyr and they moved to Detroit then Clawson where they resided for many years.   In 1987, following retirement,  they moved back to Bellaire to help take care of family and have been here ever since.

She volunteered at Meadow Brook for many years as well as the Red Cross and the Bellaire Museum.

Surviving are 5 children, Bonnie St. Cyr of Bellaire, Toni (John) Pearson of Clarkston, Mike St. Cyr of Bellaire, Tom St Cyr of Lake Orion, Lynette (Ken) Storm of Metamora, 3 sisters, Marilyn White , Donna (Fred) Galster, Reatha Smith, a brother LeRoy Gregory (Sharon Nichols) all of Bellaire and 4 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband J. Claude St. Cyr in 2014, 2 grandsons, Rick Sellers and John Pearson, 3 sisters, Emogene Conley, Phyllis Turner, Rhea Wilkie a brother Arden Gregory and her parents.

Visitation will be on Monday, July 26 from 6-8 p.m. at the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.

Graveside services will take place on Tuesday, July 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Eldred Cemetery, Kearney Township.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN,  38105, or to the Antrim County Commission on Aging, P.O. Box 614, Bellaire, MI,  49615.

Arrangements are being handled by the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
