Gunnar Agrusa, 27, of Mancelona, passed away on October 28, 2018.
Gunnar was born on October 18, 1991, in Petoskey, the son of Michael and Kellie (Boyd) Agrusa.
Gunnar was a lifelong resident of Antrim County and graduated from Mancelona High School in 2010.
He loved trains and was very knowledgeable about them, especially steam engine locomotives. He was also a “Titanic” historian, he loved computers and enjoyed going to Manistee and spending time with family and going to the beach.
He is survived by his parents, Kelli (Mike) Agrusa of Mancelona, a brother Jagger Agrusa of Mancelona, maternal grandmother, Beth Boyd of Bellaire, paternal grandmother Kathleen Agrusa of Manistee, paternal grandfather Frank Agrusa of Hollister, MO, aunts and uncles, Andi (Dave) Bartsch of Bellaire, Pat (Margie) Boyd of Bellaire, Chris Agrusa of Manistee, Sandy Agrusa of Manistee, 11 cousins, Montana, Chelsye, Angie, Tony, Abby, Liam, Casey, Kim, Jeremy, David, and Dakota.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Bill Boyd, aunt Lisa Agrusa, and great-grandmother Carol Boros.
There will be a gathering of family and friends on Saturday, November 10 from 2-6 p.m. at Mt. Mancelona.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, any donations be made to them or directly to Mortensen Funeral Home to help with expenses.
Arrangements are being handled by the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
