Glenn McSawby

Glenn Louis McSawby, 72, of Charlevoix, passed away on May 27, 2025, at Medilodge of Gaylord. He was born on October 30, 1952, in Charlevoix, the son of Louis and Irene (Cornstalk) McSawby.

Glenn was a patient individual by nature. He was calm, laid back, and always enjoyed attending family gatherings. Throughout his life, he traveled around the United States multiple times. Glenn liked to play bingo and to watch sunsets in his free time.

Surviving Glenn in death are two brothers, Gary McSawby of Petoskey, Clint Matthew Bolton (Pauline) of Petoskey, two sisters, Sandy McSawby of Charlevoix, Lois Peplow of Traverse City, many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death are his parents.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, May 29, from 6-8pm, at the Charlevoix Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 30, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, at noon. Visitation will take place from 11am until the time of Mass.
