Geraldine Sanders

Geraldine "Gerrie" Sanders,  81, of Bellaire, passed away on December 11, 2020 at her home.

Gerrie was born on October 13, 1939 in Pontiac, MI,  the daughter of Gerald and Marjorie (Thyme) Safford.

She enjoyed playing the piano, drawing,  outdoor activities like gardening and flowers, loved animals and was an avid Detroit Tigers Baseball fan.   She was a very social person who would talk to anyone at anytime.

She is survived by her husband Billy Sanders Sr., 6 children, Mike (Francis) Bennett of Waterford, MI, Pat (Moe) Bennett of Venice, FL, Cathy (John) Linegar of Highland, MI, Sherril (Charlie) Johnson of Gwinn, MI, Dan (Robin) Bennett of Cincinnati, OH, William Bennett of Lovelock, NV, 2 step-children, Bill (Cheryl) Sanders Jr., of Cincinnati, OH, Sherry Sanders Smith of Orlando, FL, her brother, Emil Safford of Troy, MI, 21 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
