Geraldine "Gerri" Bean

Geraldine (Gerri) Bean went to be with our Lord and Savior on June 29, 2024. She is survived by her husband Stan and her children Daniel Bean (Robin), Suzanne Bean Smith, David Bean (Lori) and Molly Grabowski (Ron). She is also survived by three siblings Phyllis Pawelski, Lee Daniel and Linda Daniel Torr and predeceased by her father Gerald W Daniel and her mother Reba Davidson Daniel.

 She resided in Central Lake for 33 years. She was devoted to her children, 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren whom she loved and cherished and lit up her world.

 She graduated from South Lake High School in 1956 and married the “love of her life” Stan the same year. They met each other at the United Methodist Church of St Clair Shores Michigan, and started a beautiful life together, of which they were married for 68 years.

 She was the family’s matriarch and enjoyed gardening, flowers, cooking, canning, crafts and traveling to Florida in the winter. She loved people and always tried to help in any way. She was well known and loved in her church. She had such joy in her heart and poured love, kindness and hope into those that came into her life.

She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.

 A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, July 6 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Congregational Church of Central Lake. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Pastor Gary Bekkering will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gerri’s honor to the Central Lake Food Pantry, P.O. BOX 326, Central Lake, MI 49622.
