Geraldine Drewa

Geraldine “Gerri” Drewa,  89, of Charlevoix, passed away on November 18, 2019 at Boulder Park Terrace.

Gerri was born on September 15, 1930, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Sebastian and Agnes (Dressler) Serna.

Gerri was a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Charlevoix and was employed by the Charlevoix County Clerks office for several years.   She enjoyed reading and going for car rides.

She is survived by two children, Kathy (Jim) Marsh of N. Augusta, SC, Dan (Dawn) Drewa of Charlevoix, 3 grandchildren, Desiree Drewa, Brian (Marya) Marsh, Valerie (Stevens) Shuler, 4 great-grandchildren, Connor, Brenden, Marylyn, and Samson.

She was preceded in death by her husband Leo Drewa, son David Drewa, brother Ronald Serna and her parents.

Visitation will be at St. Mary Church on Sunday, November 24 from 2-4 p.m. with a Rosary at 3:30.

Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, November 25, 2019, 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church.

Burial will take place in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Charlevoix.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church or Boulder Park Terrace.

Arrangements are being handled by the Winchester Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
