Genevieve Grysiewicz

GENEVIEVE C. GRYSIEWICZ of East Tawas, formerly of Northville, died Friday, March 30, 2007 at Grandvue Medical Care Facility in East Jordan. She was born May 19, 1925 in Detroit, the daughter of Jacob and Helen Zubel. Genevieve was a seamstress for many years and was a member of the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill. She resided in Northville for 45 years before moving to East Tawas seven years ago. She was preceded in death by her husband Ted, a daughter Laura Grice and a brother Edward Zubel. Surviving are four children, Celeste (Larry) Miller of Grand Blanc, Bruce Grysiewicz of East Tawas, Vicki (Larry) Platte) of Central Lake, Gary (Kathy) Grice of Lafayette, California, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held Monday, April 9, 2007 at Eleven a.m. at the Holy Family Catholic Church in East Tawas with Fr. Donald Geyman as celebrant.
