Elaine V McClintock

Elaine V. McClintock, 74 of Charlevoix, passed away Friday, March 15, 2024 at McLaren Northern Michigan.  She was born Nov. 22, 1949 in Battle Creek the daughter of James and Celesta (Everett) Hess.  

   Elaine grew up in northern Michigan and graduated from Battle Creek High School.  She enjoyed doing all sorts of crafts, especially painting and coloring.  She also liked crocheting items for her family and friends and often used glitter yarn to make it special.  She played bingo when she could and enjoyed a good word search.  Her favorite color was pink.  

   Surviving are her children Connie Cobb, Richard (Darcy) Cobb, Angela (Ryan) Klenke, Christina (Rick) Emeott, Rebecca Neighorn, grandchildren Miranda (Adrian) Colvin, Zachery Cobb, Alexis Klenke, Joseph Behling-Emeott, Caroline Neighorn, Autumn Klenke, Christian Klenke, Jacob Klenke, niece and nephews Susan (Jim) Barger, Shaun Hess, William Watros, and several dear friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert McClintock, siblings LeRoy Hess, Terry Hess, Cora Phillips, and Ralph Hess, and infant son, James Bennett.

   Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 2nd at 1 p.m. at the Charlevoix Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with visitation from 12 noon until the time of service. Interment will follow in Southern Cemetery, Central Lake Township.
