Dr. Patricia Elizabeth Kelly PA-C, MHS, Ed.D (“Pat”) of died on May 17, 2021 after suffering with cancer. Pat resided in Charlevoix Michigan since 2004. Pat was born on October 10, 1952 to Elizabeth M. and Bernard K. Kelly. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Jean McCulley. She is survived by her brother, Gregory (Donna) Kelly, former partner Kathryn Frake, Niece Emily (Cameron) Norris, Nephews Mac (Kiley) Kelly, Colin (Kim) Lancaster and Evan (Laura) Lancaster, her 16 year old Welsh terrier “Nicki” and recent cat Mijo as well as too many friends to list here.

Pat was a talented Physician’s Assistant receiving her degree from Stanford University School of Medicine and practiced for 14 years before turning to a career as an educator in the health field. Before retiring Pat rose to become Professor and program Director, Doctor of Health Science (DHSc Program) at NOVA Southeastern University.

Pat’s generosity and concern for others was second to none. She was a Peace Corp volunteer after college and one of the original volunteers at the Aquarian Effort Free Medical Clinic (now Wellspace Health) in Sacramento California where she worked for 16 years. Pat’s wishes were to be cremated and her ashes will be spread at a later date.

Her family and friends encourage you to celebrate Pat’s life by donating to Little Traverse Bay Humane Society Harbor Springs, Michigan; Last Dance Rescue Ranch Charlevoix; or McLaren Home Care & Hospice of Northern Michigan.

Pat you will always be missed.
