Dorothy was not only a friend, but a mother figure to all. Her nurturing personality led her to talk to, and help anyone who was around, regardless of knowing them. Dorothy loved the water and the lake was her happy place.
On January 18, 1986, in Flint, MI, Dorothy took Ron's hand in marriage. They would go on to raise six children together.
