Donna J. Moran

Donna J. Moran,  88, of Bellaire, passed away on April 16, 2022 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility.

   She was born on July 15, 1933, in Royal Oak, MI, the daughter of Remos and Marian (Passingham) Robinson.

   Donna was a longtime member of the Wesleyan Church in Bellaire, currently known as Fresh Start Wesleyan Church.   

   Her and her late husband Lionel enjoyed traveling through the years and managed to cover all 48 states of the continental United States.     She also enjoyed crocheting, but her first love was taking care of kids.   For many years she owned and operated a day care in Bellaire so she could spend every day doing what she loved.

   Surviving are 4 children, Ralph (Marlene) Moran of Bellaire, Peggy (Robert) Riedhart of Bellaire, Junie (Gary) Hoag of Lindale, TX, Patricia (Bill) Drollinger of Bellaire, 5 brothers, Danney Robinson of Bellaire, Donnie (Pat) Robinson of TX, Rickie Jim (Susan) Robinson of Jackson, TN, Ronnie Frank (Leah) Robinson of Kewadin, Michael (Sherri) Robinson of Bellaire, a sister Sally Ann Corner of Bellaire, 18 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

   Preceding her in death were her husband Lionel Moran in 2015, a daughter Marian Sterner, 2 brothers, Dennis Robinson, Jackie Ray Robinson, sister Patsy Marshall, sister-in-law Alice Robinson and her parents.

   Visitation will take place on Thursday, April 21, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. at the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.

   Funeral services will be on Friday, April 22 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fresh Start Wesleyan Church with Pastor Chris Wallace and Pastor Dennis Curell officiating.

   Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Bellaire immediately following services.

   Memorial contributions may be made to Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility, 4543 M-88 Highway, Bellaire, MI,  49615.

   Arrangements are being handled by the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
