Donald Murden

Donald D. Murden, 69 of Bellaire, died October 28, 2021 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility.  He was born January 7, 1952 in Lansing the son of Harold and Ester (Lilly) Murden.

Don graduated from Bellaire High School in 1970 and was a star basketball player for the Bellaire Eagles.  He was a firefighter and humanitarian too.  He worked for Halliburton in his younger days then went to work for Syntec building the Michigan lottery machines.  Don finally retired from the Lear Corporation.

He loved nature, golfing, canoeing, trail riding, fishing and camping.  He especially loved camping trips with his brothers.  Don loved being out in the pucker bushes and being one with nature.  He loved riding motorcycles in his younger days too.  He loved playing tricks and scaring people; he got such a kick out of that.  Most of all, he loved every moment with his children and grandchildren.
