Dolores Sprague

DOLORES E. SPRAGUE 52, of Mancelona, died on November 7, 2006 at the Munson Hospice House in Traverse City. She was born on October 5, 1954 in Kalkaska, the daughter of William and Iris (Finch) Sprague. She was a resident of Mancelona most of her life and enjoyed the outdoors, spending time with her family as well as quilting and sewing. In 1984 in Bellaire, she married John Sprague who survives. Also surviving are three children, Wendy Sprague, Amy Sprague, and Justin Sprague all of Mancelona, three brothers, Gerald (Carolyn) Prentice of Alden, Lewis Prentice, David Prentice and a sister Jeanne Prentice all of Mancelona. Preceding her in death were a son Kevin Prentice, a daughter Amber Sprague and her parents. Memorial services were held on Friday, November 10, 2006 at the Church of the Nazarene in Mancelona. Pastor Ross Corne officiated. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements were handled by the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
