DeMar Bodley

DeMar Kenneth Bodley, 80 of Charlevoix, passed away November 13, 2019 at Munson Healthcare Charlevoix Hospital.

DeMar was born October 21, 1939 in Whittaker, Michigan to Willard S. Bodley and Ruth Marie (Wilson) Bodley.

DeMar was a long time resident of Charlevoix, graduating from Charlevoix High School in 1958.  He was a former President of the Petoskey Rock Club, enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling.  DeMar was a proud veteran of the United States Army.  He was a construction and lawn worker for most of his career.

In June of 1971 DeMar married Linda Catherine Powell, who preceded him in death.  Also preceding him is his brother David Bodley and sister Barbara DePas.

Surviving DeMar is a sister Nancy Ellen (Dick) Burns, a niece Elizabeth Bascom, along with special friends Sharon Reed, and Melvin & Doris Thayer.
