Deborah DeRosia

Deborah Sue DeRosia (Blazer) of Central Lake, MI, passed away February 22, 2024 after a 35 year battle with multiple sclerosis (MS) at Munson Medical Center. 

Deborah was a strong woman who fought a valiant fight with this disease with uncommon courage and strength. She enjoyed collecting various trinket boxes as a hobby, gaming, and most of all her family and friends.  

Deborah is survived by her husband Mark of 43 years, son Justin and his wife Kimberely, her daughter Courtney Patel and her husband Vimal, and three grandchildren Devyon, Jordyn, and Seth.  She is also survived by her sisters, Candy and husband John Heitzelman, Kathy and husband Mick Kowalski, Carla and her husband Robert Roberts, and Barb Westover, as well as Mark’s family, Rachel and Robert Fenton, Fay Randall, Robert and Bonnie Jean DeRosia, and numerous nephews and nieces.  She was preceded in death by her parents Dale and Virginia (Knight) Blazer. 

Deborah will be missed by all those that knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, March 11th at 12 Noon, at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.  Memorial contributions can be given to National Multiple Sclerosis Society, PO BOX 88540, Carol Stream, IL 60188.
