David Ritsema

David Keith Ritsema, 78, of Ellsworth, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, May 29, 2026. He was born in Holland, MI on November 1, 1947, the son of John and Alice (Van Dyke) Ritsema.

Graveside services will take place Monday, June 8, at 1 p.m. at Atwood Cemetery, Banks Township with Celia Hasting and Josiah Youngquist officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm until the time of the service.

David Ritsema’s life was one of steady labor and quiet strength. His simple ways and hard work will be remembered with warmth and respect by all who knew him.
