Daniel Magee

Daniel Dale Magee, 64, of Charlevoix, passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021. He was born on May 20, 1957 in Charlevoix, the son of Marshall and Barbara (Morgan) Magee. Daniel graduated from Boyne City High School in 1975, and went on to serve in the United States Army. He worked at Honeywell for over 40 years before his retirement. He served as a trustee, the head of the cemetery, and maintained the facilities at Greensky Hill United Methodist Church. Dan was also a handyman, and he enjoyed boating, taking rides in his Corvette and spending time with his loving daughter Kelly. Dan was a very caring and loved man and will be missed dearly by family and friends.

Daniel is survived by three daughters, Kelly Zook, Tanya, and Celia; his life partner, Ann Anderson of Charlevoix; three sisters, Vickie (Michael) Stephenson, Julie Magee, and Penny Schnelle; and five grandchildren, Autumn, Alexis, Addison, Braedon and Briana Zook. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Karen Burns.

A celebration of Daniel’s life will be held at Greensky Hill. Memorial Service will be 10 AM, Saturday, October 2, 2021 (Luncheon @ 11 AM), Greensky Hill Indian UMC Hewn-Log Sanctuary & Susan Hall, 8484 Green Sky Hill Road, Charlevoix, Michigan 49720
