Dallas Rogers

Dallas H. Rogers, age 76, of Forest Home Township, passed away on April 3, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born the son of Harry and Cora (Hall) Rogers on September 14, 1946, in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.

He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  Dallas was an avid outdoorsman who especially enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He was an avid fan of Michigan State University and the Dallas Cowboys.  Dallas had a love of everything John Wayne.  Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Dallas was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Susan; siblings, LeaRae, Ward, and Denine; grandchildren, Faith, Andrea, and Paisley.

He is survived by his children, Dominick (Michele) Ritchie of Bellaire, Dionn (Dave) Marshall of Caledonia, Daris Rogers of Hastings, Jennifer (Bryan) Russell of Eaton Rapids, Micole (Nick) Holton of Mason, Rachel Rogers of Brighton, Kurtis Rogers of Grand Rapids, Steven Rogers of Georgia, Lisa Jodway of Nebraska, and Wendy Trujillo of Illinois; sister, Sharel Wood of Florida; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 10, 2023, at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, 2418 N. Aurelius Rd., Holt, MI 48842 at 11:00 a.m.  Visitation will begin at the church at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
