Cynthia Flynn

Cynthia Eleanor Flynn, 67, of Harbor Springs, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at McLaren Northern Michigan in Petoskey. She was born December 2, 1948, in Mt. Pleasant, to Martin and Eleanor (Samkowiak) Aho. She moved to San Jose, Calif. Where she graduated from Andrew P. Hill High School. Cindy then attended the Cosmetology College at San Jose City College.

On May 27, 1971, she married Lawrence R. Flynn in San Jose. They moved to Northern Michigan in 1971, then made their home in Harbor Springs in 1978.

Cindy was a devout woman with a strong Christian faith. She stayed home to raise her three children, and enjoy her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Larry; daughters, Sara (Fletch) Floyd of Petoskey, and Leah Flynn of Harbor Springs; son, Eric (Alicia) Flynn of Gainesville, Tex.; grandchildren, Gavin, Abigail, Lauren, and Addison; her mother, Eleanor Aho of Harbor Springs. Cindy was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Aho.

A private gathering of Cindy's family is planned.
