Craig Ruggles

Craig Ruggles. Formerly of Birmingham, MI passed away January 7th, 2023, at the age of 73.

He was born to Herbert and Connie (Doyle) Ruggles on May 22, 1949 in Pontiac, Michigan.

Summer days found him tooling around Torch on his pontoon with family and friends, parked at a favorite fishing spot with his grandchildren or on 4 wheelers with family.  Fall would have him preparing for or hunting on his "80" in Central Lake.
Downstate, he proudly attended many football and baseball games played by his grandsons, Connor and Ryan McCartan, proudly attended grandson Kyle Wollam's graduation from the Air National Guard, and along with his wife, lovingly watched over his granddaughter Sloan Finn-Purcella.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Craig is survived by his wife, Geri; siblings, Herbert Bradford (Sandy) Ruggles, Connie Lu (David) Taylor; children, Janice (Ken) McCartan, Michael Ruggles, Krista Wollam, Carey (Chris) Finn-Purcella, 6 nieces and nephews, and 4 grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held downstate, another will additionally be held this summer at the family home in Eastport on Torch Lake.
