Colleen Pierce

COLLEEN D. PIERCE, 80 of Central Lake, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2006. Colleen was a strong supporter of the Central Lake Historical Society and the Central Lake Library. Surviving are her children, Gary (Carolyn) Ballou of Hudson, OH, Jeri Lynn Ballou of Wyoming, MI, David (Lois) Sutherland of Kentwood; her grandchildren, Carrie (Jim) Jackson, Jeffrey (Mehgan) Ballou, Matthew Sutherland, Eric Sutherland, William (Kim) Sutherland, Ryan Sutherland; six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Andrew Plaggemars. Her husband Ted died shortly after her death. Graveside memorial services will be held Saturday, June 9, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Lakeview Cemetery in Eastport. Rev. Mary Brown will officiate. Arrangements are being handled by the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
