Clayton J. McKay

Clayton J. McKay,  84, of Central Lake, passed away on February 12, 2023 at his home.

   Clayton was born on August 7, 1938, in Kewadin, MI, the son of Alba and Amy Belle (Ebenstien) McKay.

   He enjoyed country music, playing guitar and following sports, especially the city of Detroit sports.

   Surviving are 3 sons, Rick (Charlotte) McKay of East Jordan, Rocky (Jill) McKay of Central Lake, Tim (Angela) McKay of Traverse City, 5 grandchildren, Charity (Dave) McKinnon of East Jordan, Kirk McKay of Sault Ste. Marie, MI, Kyle McKay of Central Lake, Tracy (Qito) Maza of Bellaire, Lance (Katrina) McKay of Boyne City, 3 great-grandchildren, Caris and Macie McKinnon, and Aliyah Maza.

   He was preceded in death by his wife Linda McKay, son Donald McKay, 3 sisters, Helen Clark, Jean and Joyce McKay as well as his parents.

   A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 11th at 2 p.m. at the Central Lake Methodist Church with a luncheon to follow.
