Clara Pettengill

Clara M. Pettengill, 99, of Central Lake and formerly of Grayling, died peacefully at her daughter's home. She was born June 28, 1914 in Richfield, NE, the daughter of William and Myrtle (Garrett) Smith. Clara is survived by her children, John (Katherine) Deere, Edward (Janet) Deere, Helen (Deere) Cullen, step children Robert (Joyce) Erickson, Dale (Janice) Pettengill, Priscilla Pyle, Jane (Gary) Crawford , Kay Ellen King and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 11, from 6-8 p.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Graveside services will take place on Friday, July 12 at 1:00 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery, Grayling. Arrangements have been handled by the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
