Cheryl Anne Silva

Cheryl Anne Silva, age 55, of Mancelona passed away February 8, 2023 with her family by her side.

She was born to Lawrence and Shirley (Higbee) Smith, on December 26, 1967 in Traverse City, Michigan.

Cheryl was Rock-n-Roll through and through. She loved doing arts and crafts, gardening, and enjoyed her flowers.  Cheryl had a passion for animals, and just being out in nature.  Her favorite color was even green.  Cheryl loved to have people come over and hang out especially during the Fourth of July with a barbeque and fireworks.  Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids who were her pride and joy.

She was preceded in death by her mom; siblings, Barbara Learned, and Gregory Smith, and grandson Grayson Crider.

Cheryl is survived by her longtime boyfriend Robert Poisson; children, Chelsea (Tyler) Crider of Mancelona, MI, Alicia Silva of East Jordan, MI, and Jessica (Tristan) Gallup of Florida; sister, Beverly (Mark) Zabawa; and grandchildren, Hannah, Christopher, Kaiden, Temperance, Connor, and one on the way. Along with her cat Sam and dogs Licorice and Midge.

The family has chosen to remember her privately at this time.
