Charlotte Norman, 85, of Bellaire, passed away on September 28, 2020 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility in Bellaire.  She was born on November 26, 1934 in Golden Ash, KY, the daughter of Jack and Mary (Reach) West.

Charlotte married David Norman on February 5, 1957.  Together they raised their family in Dearborn Heights, MI.  Charlotte spent most of her time taking care of their children, and she also worked in a local bakery where she beautifully decorated cakes.  Her first love was her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and she attended Ambassador Baptist Church.  She also enjoyed sewing, crafting, as well as planting and taking care of her flower gardens.

Charlotte is survived by five children, Ruth (Roar) Sand of Bellaire, Deborah (Giovanni) Luce of Southgate, MI, Roy (Jill Harper) Norman of Freeland, MI, Walter (Kim) Norman of Allen Park, MI, Gwen (Keith) Martin of Clanton, AL, her brother, Jim (Helen) West of Garden City, MI, 10 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, David Norman, her parents, Jack and Mary West, her son, David Norman, and five siblings, Edna Jones, Aileen Wallace, Mae Smith, Ruth Deneau, Roy Fisher, and Don West.

Funeral Services will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes with Lacey O’Quinn officiating.  The family will accept visitors from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 1:00.
