Charles Tidd

Charles “Chuck” Tidd,  80, of Kalkaska, passed away on July 19, 2020 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.

Chuck was born on August 24, 1939, in Stanford, IN, the son of Vernon and Maxine (Bown) Tidd.

He was a Kalkaska resident for many years where he owned and operated County Line Electric retiring after 40 years.

He enjoyed gardening, fishing, woodworking and building.

On October 29, 2000, in Traverse City, he married Lola Jean Hutcheson who survives.

Also surviving are 2 sons, Charles (Chuck) Jr. (Phyllis) Tidd of Farmersburg, IN, David Tidd of Sullivan, IN, 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 2 brothers.

He was preceded in death by a daughter Susan, a granddaughter Charlotte, a sister and his parents.

Due to Covid, there will be no services at this time.  Services will take place at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Arrangements are being handled by the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
