Casimer ”Butch” Kolinske

Casimer “Butch” Kolinske,  73, of Charlevoix, passed away on April 15, 2026.

   Butch was born on January 3, 1953, in Petoskey, the son of Casimer and Olzie (Spurlock) Kolinske.

   He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and guns.   For several years he owned and operated Long or Short Gun Shot Shop in Charlevoix.

   On January 23, 1975, in Petoskey, he married Susan Kerner who survives.   Also surviving are a daughter Heidi (Raymond) Gary of Charlevoix, 2 grandchildren, Joseph (fiancé Mercedes) Jenkins of Charlevoix, Charlotte Marek of Charlevoix and his son-in-law Jim Marek of Charlevoix.

   He was preceded in death by a daughter Amy Marek, several siblings and his parents.

   No services are planned.

   Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

   Arrangements are in the care of the Charlevoix Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
