Carolynn “ Lynne” Freeman a Paramedic passed away on January 17, 2026 at the age of 44. She was a beloved mother, sister and friend. She took immense pride in being a mother. Lynne was born August 25,1981 in Holland Michigan. She graduated from Hartford High School in Hartford Michigan in 1999. Lynne always wanted to work for Pixar so following high school she went to UNT and graduated with a graphics design degree. Pixar never called but her community did. She attended Texas A&M Paramedic program and graduated as a Licensed Paramedic in 2015. She completed the fire academy in Thornapple Township Michigan in 2020. She also became a EMT instructor during her time in Thornapple.

Lynne was a force of nature. She had an unwavering passion for the job. She dedicated her life to serving her communities across several states and multiple cities throughout the country. Lynne had a way of making an impact in the lives of everyone she met, whether it was her fellow first responders or the countless patients she cared for. To briefly encapsulate Lynne’s contributions to her community is impossible- she was a fierce advocate willing to undertake any action necessary for an individual in need. Her dedication to her patients was unwavering and an example we can all hope to strive for.

Lynne is proceeded in death by her daddy, Charles.

Lynne is survived by her greatest accomplishments: Katrina Chapman, Leigha Chapman and Wyatt Freeman. Her stepdad Jeffery Harjes Sr.

Lynne’s legacy will live on though her children and the countless lives she saved.

A funeral service will take place on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Faith Baptist Church in Princeton, TX.
