Carol Ann Runberg

Carol Ann Runberg, 58 of Beaver Island, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Munson Medical Center.

   She was born July 18, 1964 in Bay City the daughter of Edward and Marjorie (Wachowiak) Stasinski.  On July 15^th, 1989, she married John Runberg and together they shared 32 wonderful years of marriage before his passing on July 5, 2022.

   Carol loved spending time with her family.  She enjoyed cooking with her husband and hosting gatherings for their family and friends.  She enjoyed gardening, boating and classic rock too.  Carol was always up for a good adventure with John and especially enjoyed going to the casino.

   Left to cherish her memory are her children Tasha (Austin) Papazian, Joshua Runberg, Christine (Palmer) Sylvain, John Runberg III, and Daniel Runberg; 4 grandchildren: Ashley Runberg, Logan Hachey, Olive Sylvain, and Eleanor Sylvain; sister Mary (Rocky) Hernedez, brother Robert “Bert” (Cheryl) Stasinski, sister Esther (Carl) Phillips; and many nieces and nephews.

   Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be announced in the near future.
