Bobby "Bob" Holley

Bob Holley, 89, of Gaylord, passed away surrounded by family at Meadow Brook Care Facility in Bellaire on May 16, 2024. Bob was born the son of Romie and Lorna (Bentley) Holley on Feb 1, 1935, in St. Albans, West Virginia.

Bob worked as a Pipefitter/Welder at Dow Chemical Company where he retired in 1991. Previously he enjoyed a career as a meat cutter, always showing us the correct way to not only cut the meat, cook the meat but also sharpen the knife. After retirement he and his wife Sally built their dream home on Indian Lake in Manistique where the family made many unforgettable memories. They also traveled to many places on their bucket list. Bob will be remembered by his great guitar skills and beautiful voice. He was always the life of the party and the last one to walk out the door while singing Day-O. Apart from music he loved to fish, hunt, boat, snowmobile and do woodworking. He made many special items for his family that will always be treasured.

Bob leaves behind his loving wife Sally, sister Jean McNeal and children; Robbie Holley of Shepherd, Ronda Holley of Pacific, MO, Romie (Cheryl) Holley of Jackson, Rebecca (Doug) Neff of Ithaca, Bradley (Gwynn) Holley of Mt.
