Betty Cole

Betty Jane Cole, 79, of Charlevoix, died Sunday, December 4, 2016, at Munson Health Care Charlevoix Hospital.

She was born on November 3, 1937, in Charlevoix, the daughter of Nathan and Marie (Christiansen) Blissett.  She graduated from Charlevoix High School.  On September 3, 1959, in Petoskey, she married Harvey N. Cole.  He preceded her in death on March 25, 2000.

Betty is survived by two sons, David A. (Bernadette) Cole of Charlevoix and Brent N. Dianne) Cole of Marshall; five grandchildren, Katelyn, Cristin, Jared, Matthew and Samantha Cole; and one sister, Marilyn Jontzen of Ohio.  She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, William Blissett.

She enjoyed her days living at Boulder Park Terrace in Charlevoix and appreciated her caregivers.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at 4:00 P.M. at the Winchester Funeral Home in Charlevoix.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the Winchester Funeral Home.
