Arlene M. St. John

Arlene M. St John,  73, of Mancelona, passed away on April 15, 2026 at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility in Bellaire.

   She was born on June 12, 1952, also at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility in Bellaire, the daughter of Cash and Eunice (Sutton) Kenney.

   Arlene was a long time employee of Dura in Mancelona, enjoyed casino trips, traveling, camping, and riding motorcycles with her late husband Mikecal. 

  Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

   Surviving are 2 daughters, Dawn (Aart) DeHeer of Bellaire, Angela (Brian) Comai of Kalkaska, 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren,  a brother Bob (Fran) Kenney of Ellsworth and several nieces and nephews.

   Preceding her in death were her husband Mikecal St. John, a brother David Kenney, 2 sisters, Louise Ollila, Eleanor King as well as her parents.

   Funeral services will take place on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mancelona Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.   Her son-in-law Aart DeHeer will officiate.

   Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mancelona Township.

   Visitation will be Thursday from 12 noon until beginning of services.
