Celebrating the Life of Antoinette "Toni" Marie Talik
Antoinette "Toni" Marie Talik, 80, passed away February 1, 2026. Born in Saginaw, Michigan, on January 15, 1946, she was the daughter of Dominic and Clementine (Napolitano) Rocchio. Toni is leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and support to her family and friends. As a lifelong caregiver and supporter, she found her greatest joy in the well-being of her family and friends. She was the steady hand in a storm and the first person to offer help before it was even asked for.
Toni was a 1964 graduate of Saint Mary Cathedral High School in Saginaw. On September 4, 1965, Toni married Gary Talik, her devoted husband of 60 years who is survived by her. She went on to work at Catholic Federal Credit Union for over 35 years.
Together, they enjoyed bowling on leagues, camping and casino trips. She and Gary were also longtime members of the Tri County Sno Goers club, where they forged many lasting friendships and shared countless adventures. In their later years, they cherished the time they spent wintering together in North Fort Myers, Florida. Toni also enjoyed playing cards with her card club.
She is survived by her sister, Suzanne Zbercot (John); her brother-in-law, Chet Szymanski; and her sisters-in-law, Marlene Falkenberg (Robert) and Marge Rocchio. Her spirit lives on through her children, Bryan Talik (Karin) and Kari Yerington (CJ); her grandchildren, Shelby Watkins (Turner) and Bridget Talik; and her great-grandchildren, Lane and Isla Marie Watkins.
Toni was preceded in death by her brothers, Vincent (Jim) Rocchio and Dominic Rocchio; her sister, Mary Louise (Rocchio) Szymanski; her brother-in-law, Greg Talik; and her sister-in-laws, Carrie Rocchio and Bonnie Sharpe.
Though she has passed, the resilience and compassion she instilled in her loved ones remains a lasting testament to the life she led. She will be profoundly missed by all who were lucky enough to be under her wing. Memorial contributions can be made to Mustard Seed, 1325 Cherry St., Saginaw, MI 48601 or the American Lung Association.
A funeral liturgy with Fr. Steven Gavit presiding and Fr. Richard Bokinski celebrating the homily will be held on Saturday, February 7th at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 5376 State St, Saginaw, MI 48603. The family will welcome visitors at 10am and mass will begin at 11:00am with a catered luncheon immediately following at church. Following the service and luncheon, Toni will be laid to rest at St. Andrew Cemetery, 381 St. Andrews Rd, Saginaw, MI 48638.
