Allen Stanley Habel

Allen Stanley Habel, 65, of Petoskey, passed away on April 18, 2026. He was born on November 26, 1960, the son of William Habell Sr. and Leona Warner.

Allen is survived by his two children, Allen Habel Jr. of Petoskey and Tyler (Rachael) Habel of Petoskey. He is also survived by his brother, James (Tosca) Habel of Charlevoix, and his sister, Sandy Santure (Mike Wilson) of Charlevoix. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews, as well as four grandchildren: Shane (Danielle), Lily Marie, Mindy, Tyler Jr., and Hunter. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Aleyna and Ashtynn.

Allen was known as a hard worker who took pride in everything he did. He grew up on a farm and carried that strong work ethic throughout his life. He enjoyed working on vehicles and had a deep love for driving truck, from hauling logs to paving roads. He will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew him.
